Competition Overview

The digital art and NFT art markets are growing and developing. Blockchain-based NFT art spread out to the world during the pandemic due to changes in the art ecosystem and the rapid development of technology, and is moving to a new area called metaverse. In order to be more competitive in the active changes of the art market than ever, The International Digital Art Competition <Miro Race: The Moment 2022> looks back on this year and presents global issues, currently a topic of common interests, as the subject of the competition. 

The competition is looking for NFT artists who produce experimental, contemporary and innovative digital artworks under the themes such as "Borders and Migration", "Climate Change and Crisis" and "Covid19 and New Normal" and support their novel ideas. 

The digital art works selected in the competition will be displayed in an virtual space and metaverse such as Spatial (spatial.io), Voxels (https://www.voxels.com/), and The Sandbox (https://www.sandbox.game/). The communication between various cities around the world will be possible through sharing of individual meta-contents which individual artists created. 

In particular, it can encourage the economic activities, growth, and development of artists through the linkage of marketplaces directly connected to the exhibition space. The international competition <Miro Race: The Moment 2022> will start on 1 December and end on 31 December, 2022.
